Due to the hardship and suffering caused by the war in Ukraine, the Children's Heart Foundation has set up its own aid fund for heart children and their relatives as well as clinics providing treatment. The foundation is thus making a contribution to improving the care of people in Ukraine and refugees as much as possible. The children's hospitals in Ukraine and Poland are supported with medical and technical equipment such as ventilators and monitors as well as children's beds, consumables and medicines that are urgently needed.

The KinderHerz Foundation is therefore looking for aids that are no longer needed and ensures that new equipment is purchased. Companies are being mobilized to make their products available and new partners are being recruited to help.

"We want to organize help for the little patients who already have a very difficult time due to their illnesses and are now also suffering in these terrible armed conflicts," emphasizes Sylvia Paul, CEO of the KinderHerz Foundation.
