For the second year in a row, we have joined forces with the Wochenspiegel newspaper to present the ‘Stop! Violence against children’ campaign, which campaigns for the protection of children and young people in our society to mark World Children's Day on 20 September. We are proud to have been a partner of this important initiative from the very beginning and to play our part in raising awareness of this important issue.

On 20 September, we celebrate the 70th anniversary of World Children's Day - a significant milestone that reminds us how important it is to protect and promote the rights and needs of children worldwide. Under this year's motto ‘Into the future with children's rights’, we are focussing on children's rights and sending a clear signal for a child-friendly and sustainable future.

On 9 July, the proWIN Foundation presented a total of 190,000 euros to 18 different aid organisations for children and young people in need at a handover ceremony in Reden. Their respective projects were presented in the presence of politicians and the press.

Shortly before Christmas, the proWIN Foundation and the proWIN pro nature Foundation once again open their aid umbrellas in order to provide targeted funding in line with their respective foundation purposes.

On 26 October, the proWIN foundations hosted the second charity gala at their academy in Landsweiler-Reden.

Following the successful premiere last year, there will also be a pro Saarland Foundation Gala for a good cause in 2018.
