Children are the most vulnerable members of our society and deserve special protection. Unfortunately, reports of violence against children and abuse are appearing in the media with alarming and increasing frequency.
The first special publication of the ‘Stop violence against children’ campaign was published in November 2022 and is still available online: Special publication ‘Stop violence against children’. On this website, interested parties can find extensive information, support organisations, brochures and address directories on this important topic.

‘Stop violence against children’ - A strong signal for child protection
For the second year in a row, we have joined forces with the Wochenspiegel newspaper to present the ‘Stop! Violence against children’ campaign, which campaigns for the protection of children and young people in our society to mark World Children's Day on 20 September. We are proud to have been a partner of this important initiative from the very beginning and to play our part in raising awareness of this important issue.
Why ‘Stop violence against children’?
The goal: Look and act instead of looking away
The ‘Stop! Violence against children’ campaign aims to take the topic out of the taboo zone and bring it more into the public eye. The special publication provides a platform that not only informs, but also provides concrete support:
- Education about the different forms of violence
- Provision of resources and contact points for those affected and their relatives
- Raising awareness of hazardous situations and recognising warning signals
- Motivation for civil courage and active assistance
Through these measures, we hope together to make an important contribution to ensuring that violence against children is no longer tolerated and that the inhibition threshold for talking and acting about it continues to fall.
Our task as a cooperation partner
As a partner from the very beginning, we are actively committed to ensuring that the issue of ‘violence against children’ not only remains in the public eye, but that concrete measures are also taken to protect children. We are aware of the responsibility we bear as a society and want to bring about positive change through our work and campaigns such as this one.
Help us!
Find out more, share knowledge and support those affected. Because only together can we make a difference - for a future in which children can grow up without fear and realise their dreams.
