This publication is intended to draw attention to the urgent need to protect and promote children's rights and, above all, to live them in everyday life. After all, children's rights are not only a moral right, but also a legal obligation enshrined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
World Children's Day, which was established by the United Nations in 1954, is a platform for drawing attention to the special rights of children and placing them at the centre of social and political discussions. Whether protection from violence, the right to education or the right to a carefree childhood - all these rights must be lived and actively promoted in order to create a fair and future-oriented world.
