Miteinander Leben Lernen gGmbH

Advice and support for people with disabilities and employers in internships and jobs.
Miteinander Leben Lernen (MLL) wants to take up a new field of work as an "alternative service provider" in accordance with Section 60 SGB IX - for the first time in Saarland, in order to be able to offer people with learning difficulties, mental disabilities and severe and multiple disabilities a supplement to the work area of a WfbM.

In Saarland, there has so far been no possibility of offering people who are considered "in need of workshops" work other than in workshops for people with disabilities. We welcome the fact that this is now changing due to the changes in the BTHG and that politicians are supporting alternative offers. The target group is generally young people with disabilities who want to work on the general labor market. The young people have different support needs in the area of so-called learning and mental disabilities; they may have sensory impairments or physical disabilities. The main aim is to accompany young people with high support needs on their professional path and to provide them with a framework in which they can realize their desire for a job on the general labour market. The aim is to establish a service for the inclusion of young people with different - and extensive - support needs in the workplace.
  • create permanent jobs for people with support needs
  • Provide outpatient support for people with disabilities for employment in companies in the general labour market
  • open up and test new occupational fields and job opportunities
  • qualify jobseekers with disabilities specifically for performance requirements that are in demand on the general labour market
  • Establish a network for jobseekers and employees with disabilities
  • support employees with disabilities in their new workplace
  • promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in the labour market through public relations work
A structure will be developed and set up that
  • acquires jobs on the general labour market and matches them with the interests and skills of employees
  • develops new job opportunities for young people with extensive support needs in cooperation with companies and authorities
  • provides job coaching
  • lays the foundations in Saarland for a supplement to the work offered by WfbM
  • advises employers on workplace subsidies, workplace adjustments and support options for new employees
  • lobbies in favour of the budget for work and other options for promoting workplace inclusion
  • supports pupils in their orientation to the general labour market by offering internships and securing the necessary support during the internship
  • tackles the issue of expanding theory-reduced training programmes in Saarland in cooperation with the chambers of commerce and industry
