The focus is on the non-medical challenges that affected families face. Around 4,000 families are currently being looked after by the Herzkinder team. The figures are staggering: in Austria, every 100th baby is born with a heart defect - that's around 700 newborns every year. For many children, a life-saving operation is their only chance of growing up healthy. What remains are often overwhelmed parents who urgently need support in this exceptional situation.
We were particularly impressed by the Teddyhaus Linz, which is run by Herzkinder Österreich. It offers 16 residential units for parents and relatives of children with heart disease who are being treated at the nearby Children's Heart Center Linz. The proximity to the hospital gives families support in difficult times, as it allows them to be close to their child at all times.

As part of our campaign with the Austrian distributor "Every party helps", we were able to support a very special project this year: Together, we presented a symbolic donation cheque for €15,000 to the organization Herzkinder Österreich.
The "Every Party Helps" campaign thrives on the commitment of our Austrian sales partners - and a total of €8,000 has already been raised.
Our proWIN Foundation has topped up this amount and increased it to €15,000 in order to sustainably support the valuable work of Herzkinder Österreich.

On May 8, 2024, we were able to make a particularly significant contribution: the proWIN Foundation presented Herzkinder Österreich with a generous donation cheque for €10,000.
This donation is a result of the wonderful "Every party helps" initiative, which was launched by our dedicated Austrian sales team. The campaign initially raised €5,000, which we were able to increase to a total of €10,000 thanks to our additional support.
