The focus is on the non-medical challenges faced by affected families. The Herzkinder team currently supports around 4,000 families. The figures are staggering: in Austria, one in every 100 babies is born with a heart defect—that’s about 700 newborns every year. For many children, a life-saving operation is their only chance to grow up healthy. What remains are often overwhelmed parents who urgently need support in this exceptional situation.
We were particularly impressed by the Teddyhaus Linz, which is run by Herzkinder Austria. It offers 16 residential units for parents and relatives of children with heart disease who are being treated at the nearby Children’s Heart Center Linz. The proximity to the hospital provides families with support during difficult times, as it allows them to be close to their child at all times.

As part of our "Every Party Helps" campaign with our Austrian distributor, we were able to support a very special project this year: Together, we presented a symbolic donation check for €15,000 to the organization Herzkinder Österreich.

On May 8, 2024, we were able to make a particularly significant contribution: the proWIN Foundation presented Herzkinder Österreich with a generous donation check for €10,000.
This donation is the result of the wonderful “Every party helps” initiative, which was launched by our dedicated Austrian sales team. The campaign initially raised €5,000, which we were able to increase to a total of €10,000 thanks to our additional support.
