Elterninitiative krebskranker Kinder im Saarland e.V.
JuNa project of the Parents' Initiative for Children with Cancer in Saarland: The aim is to give young people the opportunity to exchange ideas with other former patients.
Funding gala 2018: JuNa project
The Parents' Initiative for Children with Cancer in Saarland launched the Jugendnachsorge project, or JuNa project for short, a few years ago. From one moment to the next, the illness dominates their lives. After being discharged from hospital, they are often disappointed to discover that much has changed and that they are unfortunately no longer able to seamlessly resume their pre-treatment habits. The aim of the JuNa project is to give young people the opportunity to talk to other former patients, undisturbed and completely voluntarily, including about topics that they do not want to discuss with their families or therapists. Many events and excursions are organized for the young people, such as a visit to the Europapark, football golf, cinema visits or a barbecue.
