Here, children from families suffering from addiction are given intensive educational support and challenges every week in our "SINN program". The children come after school, receive a hot lunch, have discussion groups and are offered SINN-filled leisure activities, many of which are experiential education activities that are close to everyday life.
The group factor is very important and helpful. Children from addicted families are the most vulnerable group of children. They are regarded by experts as the "forgotten children", as addiction is still a taboo subject in our society today. In addition, there is important work with parents, without which the successes with the children are not sustainable. The group is supervised by two pedagogical specialists, the group size is 8-10 children.
