Förderverein KinderLeben e.V.

The Förderverein KinderLeben e. V. was founded in May 2009 and is a recognized, non-profit and charitable corporation according to §§ 51 ff AO. The aim of the association is to provide individual help for children and young people with life-shortening illnesses and multiple disabilities, their siblings, parents and close relatives by offering material and financial support.

The affected families receive support through the procurement of vital medical equipment, the financing of important therapies or in the form of a grant for the funeral of the deceased child. In addition to help for terminally ill and seriously ill children, the KinderLeben e. V. support association also offers its support to healthy siblings and parents. They often have to take a back seat in everyday life with a sick family member; their needs and requirements are often overlooked.

By organizing excursions, the support association ensures that the children, whether healthy or terminally ill, can once again enjoy a great, eventful day and switch off from their difficult fate. The current project of the Förderverein KinderLeben e. V. supports affected families at Christmas time. Aid packages are sent to numerous families with children suffering from life-shortening illnesses. Among other things, these parcels contain therapeutic aids to promote motor skills, toys for the shadow children (siblings) and, above all, basic foodstuffs. In most cases, even simple things such as bread, pasta or rice are lacking - not to mention fresh fruit and vegetables.
