Förderverein Afridunga e.V.

The association currently finances the kindergarten and schooling from grades 1 to 6 on site. In order to enable students to graduate after grade 8, it is necessary to purchase an additional plot of land, build additional classrooms, additional sanitary facilities, a library, a storage room and a computer room. In addition to the investments, Afridunga finances a considerable part of the personnel costs of the now 24 employees at the orphanage (educators, teachers, cook, janitor). Mama Rosmary runs the orphanage on a voluntary basis with the support of her children. The aim is to give the children at Lake Victoria a perspective for their future.
