Monika Weiss from Schiffweiler in Saarland founded the "Big Heart for Sick Children" campaign in 1999, as her own illness made her realize that a child's smile is indispensable. Since then, she has dedicated herself to this project with renewed energy.
Without a celebrity or public background, however, it remains difficult to establish campaigns like this, so the proWIN Foundation does not forget its responsibility to bring Ms. Weiss a little closer to her goal and together ensure smiling children's faces.
