Arche Herzensbrücken

"Arche Herzensbrücken" is a non-profit organization that enables families with seriously ill children to take affordable time out together.

2024: Time out for families with seriously ill children

Arche Herzensbrücke is a unique project that aims to give families with seriously ill children an urgently needed break from the stresses of everyday life. Here, affected families find a place of refuge that is specially tailored to their needs. While the sick children are cared for by experienced nurses and therapists, volunteer helpers lovingly look after the siblings. This care gives parents precious moments of relief and the opportunity to recharge their batteries.

The Arche Herzensbrücke service is particularly valuable for families who find it difficult to find time for themselves due to the ongoing care and challenges of everyday life. The opportunity to get away from it all in a supportive and caring environment helps them to strengthen their resilience and zest for life.

Thanks to our donation as part of the "Your VAT benefit for a good cause" project, the Herzensbrücke Ark can continue its important work and offer even more families a well-deserved break. We are proud to support this heartfelt project and help families experience moments of relaxation and peace.

2021: Recreational offers for families with seriously ill children

In a family-run hotel in Seefeld/Tyrol, affected families are given the opportunity to relax for a few days, recuperate and recharge their batteries. During special Arche Herzensbrücken weeks, both the sick children and their parents and siblings are offered professional care and a wide range of activities. The care of the children and the majority of all leisure and recreational activities are free of charge for the families and are financed by the association.
