This is where the Flamingo Children's Hospice comes in. The Swiss Children's Hospice Foundation is currently building its first location in Fällanden, which will offer a unique retreat for sick children, their families and siblings. The Flamingo Children's Hospice will be a place of peace, relaxation and holistic support. The aim is to give families a break so that they can return to their often difficult everyday lives stronger after their stay.
The Flamingo Children's Hospice complements existing services in the field of pediatric palliative care and will be housed in a purpose-built building in a recreational area close to nature. The hospice is scheduled to open at the end of 2025.

More than 10,000 children and young people with life-limiting illnesses live in Switzerland. These children are cared for and looked after around the clock by their families, but despite this care, there is often a lack of specialized services for the palliative needs of children and adolescents.

As part of a charity campaign, a valuable amount has already been collected for this project, which was topped up again by our proWIN Foundation. We were proud to present the Swiss Children's Hospice Foundation with a donation cheque for 17,500 euros, which will support the realization of the Flamingo Children's Hospice and thus give many families comfort and new strength in difficult times in the future.
