Initiative krebskranke Kinder München e.V.

This important initiative is committed to accompanying children with cancer and their families through music therapy and offering them support in a particularly difficult life situation.

In 2024, a total of 65 families and their sick children received music therapy support. The therapy took place on an inpatient, outpatient and day-clinic basis. It is particularly noteworthy that the project reaches children of all ages - from newborns still in hospital to adolescents. Time and again, it has been shown how valuable and healing music can be for the young patients, even in the most difficult moments of their lives.

Music therapy offers a wonderful opportunity to alleviate the emotional burden of the illness, support the healing process and, above all, strengthen cohesion within the family. At times when words are often not enough, music creates a unique opportunity for communication that benefits both the children and their relatives.

We are proud to support this project and make a small contribution to ensuring that children with cancer and their families receive the support they need during this difficult time. The power of music has the potential not only to promote the healing process, but also to have a positive impact on the lives of the children affected.
