Förderverein Afridunga e.V.
As part of our "VAT advantage for a good cause" campaign, we have been able to achieve great things over the past five years together with the Afridunga e.V. support association.
To conclude this special project partnership, we have now supported the association one last time with 86,666 euros - a donation that will go where it is needed: to children in need.
Sustainable aid at Lake Victoria
The Afridunga e.V. support association has been committed to the orphanage and associated school Sheryl's Orphans Children Home in Port Victoria, Kenya, for many years. Thanks to our help, the quality of the facility has been steadily improved - for more education, care and safety for the children cared for there.
Education, care and balanced meals
A total of 300 orphans are currently being cared for at the orphanage. They not only receive schooling, but also three balanced meals a day - a crucial contribution to health, development and equal opportunities.
With our support, it has also been possible to employ over 30 specialists and teachers. Their work not only provides the children with a structured daily routine, but also personal support and a sense of security.

Investing in a secure future
In addition to daily care, the local infrastructure has been sustainably improved through our joint work. Among other things, the donations were used to
- Water tanks for clean drinking water,
- a solar system for a stable energy supply and
- additional classrooms to improve teaching.
