10,000 € for emergency medical aid in Gaza

In June 2025, our proWIN Foundation was once again able to make a contribution to alleviating the suffering in Gaza: a further €10,000 was donated to Doctors Without Borders to provide urgently needed medical aid for the affected civilian population. Last year, our proWIN Foundation had already contributed money to the so-called Gaza Regional Fund. This budget will benefit various operations in Gaza, the West Bank and - if necessary - neighboring regions such as Lebanon. The need for help is great and the situation remains dramatic.
The medical care situation is catastrophic

No hospital in the entire Gaza Strip is currently fully functional. Of the former 36 facilities, only 17 are still working - some of them under massive pressure and without sufficient infrastructure. There is a lack of electricity, water, medicines and medical supplies. Many buildings are damaged or destroyed. The few medical teams still active are working to exhaustion. Despite these conditions, Médecins Sans Frontières continues to tirelessly provide emergency medical aid - supported by around 90% Palestinian staff who are themselves affected by the conflict.
What has already been made possible with support:
- Emergency surgery, obstetrics & primary medical care
- Outpatient consultations & inpatient care in our own facilities and supported hospitals
- Drinking water supply for over 200,000 people every day through mobile water trucks
- Psychosocial support, especially for traumatized children
- Provision of medicines and relief supplies where possible
- Support in Nasser Hospital, the last partially functioning facility in southern Gaza, with neonatology, pediatric intensive care unit, obstetrics and emergency room
Trauma aid for children in greatest need

A particularly touching part of the aid concerns psychological support for children. Trauma therapist Katrin Glatz Brubakk has already been to Gaza twice with Médecins Sans Frontières. She accompanies the local psychological team in their work with children who have been severely traumatized by the war. She helps the children to express their experiences - often with pens and paper when words fail. A painted picture showing the violence they have experienced can be the first step in coming to terms with the incomprehensible. The work of these teams brings hope - and humanity - back into a devastated environment.
Help that arrives
Our renewed support is a small but important contribution to alleviating the suffering. We would like to thank Médecins Sans Frontières for their courage, steadfastness and commitment to the most vulnerable - and all the donors who make this aid possible. Because every contribution counts when it comes to saving lives and preserving hope.

The organization works tirelessly to provide people in crisis areas with access to urgently needed healthcare, particularly in regions that have been severely affected by wars, natural disasters or epidemics. MSF is often the only medical point of contact for people whose survival is threatened by a lack of infrastructure and resources.
MSF's medical teams respond quickly and purposefully to emergencies and provide help where it is needed most - even in crisis areas that are often away from the public eye. In addition to providing acute medical care, the teams are also involved in long-term healthcare projects that provide people in crisis regions with sustainable access to healthcare.
With our support of 10,000 euros, the teams can continue and expand their life-saving work. The donation makes it possible to send medical equipment, medicines and qualified personnel to affected areas to offer hope and chances of survival on the ground. We are proud to be able to make a contribution to the important work of Médecins Sans Frontières, which saves lives worldwide and brings hope to difficult situations.
